Mrs. Janet Voûte became responsible for Global Public Affairs at Nestlé in December 2010.


She chairs the Nestlé Creating Shared Value Council, is a member of the internal Nestlé-in-Society Board and is responsible for driving Creating Shared Value including reporting, the Global CSV Forum and Stakeholder engagement. Mrs. Voûte also plays a leading role in Nestlé’s engagement to address the double-burden of malnutrition.


Prior to joining Nestlé, Mrs. Janet Voûte served as Partnership Adviser at the World Health Organization in the Non-communicable Disease and Mental Health Cluster.


From 2000-2008, Mrs. Voûte served as CEO of the World Heart Federation, a global NGO dedicated to the prevention and control of heart disease and stroke.


Janet Voûte began her career in strategy consulting with Bain & Company in Paris, Munich, Zürich and Geneva. As Vice President/Partner she focused on the food and health sectors.


Mrs. Voûte is an honors graduate of Smith College in Massachusetts, USA and the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in Bologna Italy and Washington DC.

Karen has spent over 20 years in senior management and communication positions in international business and not-for-profit environments.With a holistic vision of society, she believes that individual leadership and professional skills can be adapted to every organisation.



Karen spent over 16 years with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) - dedicated to the protection and assistance of war victims - including as Deputy Director of the organisation’s Communication Department. In 2004, she became VP
Corporate Communication at Firmenich, the largest privately-owned company in the fragrance and flavour industry.



She joined private investment group AOG as Group CCO (Chief Communication Officer) in 2011. She has since led the Group’s repositioning and rebranding, and launched the first pan-African advertising campaign of its downstream division (nominated for the Transform Awards Europe 2015).
Karen is also Executive Director of the Addax and Oryx Foundation, supporting projects aimed at sustainably alleviating the root causes of poverty in Africa and the Middle East, and Communication Advisor to the Fondation Gandur pour l’Art.



She was a member of the Board of the University of Business and International Studies of Geneva, of Swiss cancer foundation Look Good Feel Better, based in Zürich, and is former President of the Career Women’s Forum in Geneva. Karen graduated with a degree from the University of London and holds an Executive MBA and a Master in Media and Communication. She also completed the Building High Performance Boards program at IMD in Lausanne. A Swiss (mother) and British (father) national, she is bi-lingual in English and French. She describes herself as a crazy, obsessional golfer, which is probably an understatement…, and jogs regularly.

Judith is one of three founding members of Jhamtse Switzerland, a Swiss non-profit organisation created in 2012 to support the Jhamtse Gatal Children’s Community, Arunachal Pradesh, Northeast India, a school and home for 86 orphans and disadvantaged children. She spends as much time as possible working as a volunteer. Judith …

Judith is one of three founding members of Jhamtse Switzerland, a Swiss non-profit organisation created in 2012 to support the Jhamtse Gatal Children’s Community, Arunachal Pradesh, Northeast India, a school and home for 86 orphans and disadvantaged children. She spends as much time as possible working as a volunteer.


Judith spent her entire career working in financial services until summer 2012 when she decided to devote more time to philanthropy and developing new skills and passions.


Judith started her financial career working for the investment bank, Lehman Brothers, both in London and Geneva.  She then spent 14 years working for Pictet & Cie, Geneva, where she was responsible for business development and client relations with Ultra High Net Worth Individuals.  From 2008 to 2012 she worked for Kedge Capital (Switzerland) SA, which is the investment arm of a large family office.


Judith currently holds a non-executive position on a Foundation board which acts as Trustee to a substantial private fortune.


She holds an Executive MBA in International Wealth Management from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh and a BA (Hons) from University of Reading in French and Italian. Judith is a UK citizen and has lived in Switzerland for the past 23 years.

Diana worked for 14 years in Banking, Finance, Law and HR in several countries and sectors. She holds a BA in Economics from McGill University, Canada and a LLB in Law from the University of London, England. Amongst many other qualifications, Diana is a qualified Sophrologist and a trained NLP practitioner.
