Thursday, 29 October,– Arrivals & Welcoming Cocktails

Welcome reception / cocktails: 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm, at the Hotel Royal Manotel****, on 41, rue de Lausanne.

Cost: CHF25 per person (please note drinks after 8:30pm will paid individually)

Attire: Smart / business casual

Friday, 30 October – AAC Conference & Reception / Dinner

AAC Conference:  9:30 am to 5:00 pm, will be held at the Emmanuel American Church, Rue de Monthoux 3, located between the Hotel Kempinski and Hotel d’Angleterre

Conference Cost: CHF30 per person

Lunch: 12:00 to 1:00 pm, will be catered. A mixture of assorted sandwiches and canapés, with wine and soft drinks

Lunch Cost: CHF30 per person

Attire: Casual

Reception: 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at the Papon Restaurant, one of the finest restaurants in Geneva’s Old Towne, located at Rue Henri-Fazy 1.

Dinner:  8:00pm – 11:00pm, at the Papon Grand Grote. Menu TBD and vegetarian options are available

Cost:  Reception and Dinner – CHF80 with wine

Attire: Jacket and tie

Saturday, 31 October – Free day in Geneva / Traditional Swiss Fondue and Entertainment

Fun in Geneva – A visit and guided tour of the PatekPhilippeWatchMuseum, a world class watch in museum, dedicated to the history and heritage of the brand……pending

Cost:  CHF15 – 20 pending

Dinner: 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm – A traditional Swiss fondue and entertainment at the famous Edelweiss Restaurant

Menu: Viande séchée du Valais, Fondue Edelweiss (Gruyère and Vacherine cheese); Meringe glacéee à la crème de Gruyère.  Swiss red and white wine, mineral water and coffee/tea

Costs: Dinner CHF 75

Attire:  Smart Casual

Sunday, 1 November - Depart for home

Sleep late and have a late breakfast before you depart.

 Hotel bookings and payment is done individually.  For the Hotel Royal and Hotel Edelweiss the rooms must be booked by October 2.  For the Hotel Central, it will be first come first serve.

Transportation to the Manotel Hotels

For those coming by plane, you can get a free public transportation ticket at baggage claim, just look for the ticket machine near the exit door.

When you walk from baggage claim, turn left and walk the way to the train station, 5 mins.  Take the train to Gare Cornavin, a 7 min ride.

If you are staying the Manotel Royal, turn left when you exit the train stain.  Walk 5 mins down rue du Lausanne and you are there.  If your staying at the Manotel Edelweiss, go the to the Manotel Royal and turn right on rue du Mole and in 5 mins you are there.

Manotel special offer

The Manotel is offering a 15% discount at any of the restaurants for those staying at the Royal or Edelweiss.  For example, you can use it after the Thursday welcoming cocktails

Geneva has an excellent public transportation system and tickets are available at the hotels

Registration and payment should be made as soon possible. All registrations and payments must be done by October 2 in order to secure your place at the conference.
