Scotland’s National Bard, Robert Burns, was born, the eldest of seven children, near Ayr on the 25th January 1759, to a poor tenant farmer. He lived in various parts of Ayrshire, Edinburgh and Dumfries, where he died in 1796. Burns Night has been part of Scottish culture for about 200 years as a means of commemorating Scotland’s best loved Bard. And when Burns immortalised haggis in verse, he created a central link that is maintained to this day.

 Burns Night includes:

• Chairman’s opening remarks and a welcome from the President of the American International  Club of Geneva
• The Selkirk Grace
• Address to the Haggis and Toast
• The Immortal Memory
• Toast to The Lasses
• Response from the Lasses
• Poems and Songs
• Scottish Dancing

Please join us for this unforgettable experience!
