Program; 18H30 apero, 19H00 concert, 20H00 dinner, all outside in good weather.
1 September: Gautier Capuçon, cello, and Fabrizio Chiovaetta, piano. Gautier is among the world-class cellist, and Chiovetta professor of piano at HEM GE/NE.
3 September: Sonya Yoncheva, soprano, and Leonardo Garcia Alarcon. Yoncheval is one of the top opera stars today, performing title and lead roles at the major opera houses, including the MET in New York. Garcia Alarcon is a pianist and conductor of Cappelle Mediterrania.
5 September: Fabrizio von Arx & Friends. Von Arx is a fabulous violinist and organizer of the Festival des Bastions.
AIC Cultural Events has reserved 10 places for each of these event. This is the first season of this unique musical event in Geneva, and the feedback is excellent. These remaining events are SOLD OUT/COMPLETE.
Reservations : Reserve for member and partner (maximum two places) on the AIC website for ONE (1) concert. If places remain after 20 August, a Reminder will be sent out to all members. At that time, the remaining seats will be available to all members, even for those who have already booked. This is an effort to: (1) allow as many AIC members as possible to enjoy this event; and (2) to make sure that AIC members benefit from our reservations on each night.
Cost: There is no cost to make a reservation, which the AIC has done. But the cost of the apero and dinner will depend on what you order. The AIC asks you to confirm your reservation with the AIC with a DEPOSIT of CHF 20/person. This deposit will be credited to your food and drink costs on the night.
Payment needed by August 24.
Cancellation: Deadline is August 24 at 17H00 for refund of your deposit. This should provide time to find others interested in these concerts. Refunds after this date is subject to finding someone to take your tickets – either the AIC or you from among other AIC members. This event is too popular to let tickets go to waste.
As per the current COVID regulations, please bring masks.
In event of bad weather, the event will take place inside.
La Stradivarius Art & Sound, l’Agence Musika et le Café Restaurant du Parc des Bastions présentent la première édition du FESTIVAL DES BASTIONS, qui se déroulera pendant toute la période estivale 2020.
Le concept? Des rendez-vous musicaux, sous forme d’Apéro/diner concert en plein air, sous la direction artistique de Fabrizio von Arx. Une sorte de retour à la vie ponctué de poésie, tel que peuvent l’apporter la musique classique, le jazz ou le chant lyrique.
Un programme passionnant pour les mélomanes mais accessible pour les profanes avec 7 concerts uniques et gratuits dans un cadre idyllique plus que centenaire – le Café Restaurant du parc des Bastions – dont la vocation première a toujours été la musique avec son Kiosque.
Les artistes se produiront sur la rotonde, entièrement ouverte et surplombant le parc. Le public pourra s’asseoir en terrasse (sur réservation), s’installer dans l’herbe autour, voire diner en présence des artistes par la suite.
Sur scène : des têtes d’affiche comme des artistes à la renommée internationale ou locale, tous ayant un attachement fort et un lien avec Genève.
