Our 2009 feast gathered together over 200 Club Members, guests and their children at the Hotel InterContinental for this traditional, family-style, Thanksgiving meal of turkey and all the trimmings. It was a delightful success.
One of the main highlights of the evening was our Tombola draw and the Auction of Roger Federer's autographed shorts, the George Clooney tie and two Paint a Smile paintings created on site by two Smile Painters. The Tombola generated tremendous excitement and anticipation as everyone waited to see if they had won. There were plenty of winners as we were able to give away over fifty prizes with a total value of CHF 90'000 thanks to our generous donators.
Part of the proceeds from tombola ticket sales and all proceeds from our exclusive auction will be donated to Paint a Smile Foundation. The remaining ticket sales’ proceeds go to finance other Club social events.
We are very grateful to our generous donators, and the contribution it made to the Paint a Smile Foundation and the AIC Club office.
