Biography
Edward Patrick Flaherty is a US attorney and senior partner in the Swiss law firm of Schwab, Flaherty, & Associés in Geneva, and is also legal counsel to Republicans Abroad Switzerland, and its former Co-Chairman. He focuses his practice on representing whistleblowers, staff members and third parties working for or injured by international organizations such as the UN, UNHCR WIPO, WHO, ILO, etc. He is cofounder of IO Watch and the Centre for Accountability of International Organizations. He is admitted to practice before the US Supreme Court, the US Federal Court of Appeals 2nd Circuit, and the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts. He is also registered with the Geneva Ordre des Avocats as a qualified foreign attorney. He received his BA from Tufts University, and his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, Boston.
