AIC and the AICC Gala 2025
For those who may not be aware, the AIC is a proud founding member of the Association of International Chambers of Commerce (AICC), a dynamic coalition of 20 chambers of commerce. As an active board member, AIC plays a vital role in fostering international business collaboration.
On March 21, the 3rd Annual AICC Gala took place at the prestigious President Wilson Hotel, marking one of the most anticipated and distinguished networking events in Geneva. This year’s gala brought together over 315 representatives from Geneva’s diverse chambers of commerce, creating an exceptional atmosphere for meaningful connections and celebrations. From the AIC, 34 members and guests attend and occupied four tables.
A special acknowledgment goes to the Italian Swiss Chamber of Commerce for their outstanding efforts in organizing and executing a truly first-class event. From exquisite cuisine to captivating entertainment, they ensured an unforgettable evening filled with elegance and camaraderie.
The night commenced with a welcome glass of Prosecco and a photo opportunity, followed by a grand entrance down the red carpet leading to the reception area—where the magic of networking unfolded. Guiding the evening’s proceedings with charisma and wit was Mr. Michael McKay, a distinguished member of the British Swiss Chamber of Commerce and a well-known local radio personality. He warmly introduced Claudio Bozzo, President of the AICC, who extended a heartfelt welcome to all in attendance.
The five-course dinner was nothing short of exceptional, accompanied by an impeccable selection of wines. One standout dish stole the show—ravioli with truffles—which some described as “to die for.” Perhaps a bit dramatic, but a second helping would certainly have been well received!
Following dinner, Vincent Subilia, Director General of the Geneva Chamber of Commerce (CCIG), delivered an engaging address. The evening continued with mesmerizing entertainment, featuring a Flamenco guitarist and dancer, followed by a stunning performance from a local pop singer, whose voice enchanted the audience.
