On 7 December 2023 the AIC hosted a speakers luncheon featuring Mr. Roland Armbruster, CEO of Manor AG.
The Manor Group, Switzerland's largest department-store chain with headquarters in Basel and 7'900 employees, has a large network of 59 Manor department stores, 27 Manor Food supermarkets and 23 Manora restaurants.
Mr. Armbruster, who started his new role in February 2023, shared his vision for Manor to become the country's preferred omnichannel store by focusing on the high-end of the middle tier segment of the Swiss retail market. A key component of this strategy is to enhance the customer experience by continuing to offer high quality merchandise and optimizing customer preferences through digitalization and artificial intelligence.
Attendees appreciated Mr. Armbruster's high quality presentation and his openness to answer questions.
