Civic Concerns 2025/26
We are proud to announce the Club’s new Civic Concerns Charity Cancer Support Switzerland.
Cancer Support Switzerland is a not-for-profit organisation that provides support in English to individuals and families affected by cancer, either directly or indirectly, in Switzerland and neighbouring regions.
People with cancer or their loved ones can receive support in dealing with all aspects of the disease, from the initial shock of diagnosis, to coping with cancer treatments and side effects, as well as managing relationships with children, family, and colleagues, and more.
With the phrase no one faces cancer alone at its heart they support through a wide range of services. With support tailored to each individual and family.
Working closely with hospitals and other healthcare establishments to ensure our support is complementary to the treatment and care patients receive. They also have an extensive partnership network with other local support organisations.
AIC’s Civic Concerns partnership with Cancer Support Switzerland will include these activities:
- Fundraising at AIC events where members can make a donation to the charity upon registration.
- Silent Auction at the AIC Thanksgiving Gala on 28 November 2025 where 100% of the proceeds will go to the charity.
- Charity Golf Tournament, with auctions and opportunities to donate!
