Bertrand Levrat is the General Director of the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG). He will provide a roadmap for public health care and research in Geneva. An event not to be missed by health care professionals and the public at large.
As a background, the HUG was created in 1995, and is the first University-based hospital in Switzerland. The HUG consists of eight hospitals, two clinics, and 40 outpatient consultancies throughout the canton of Geneva.

Bertrand Levrat has been General Director of Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) since 2013. Formerly a lawyer, he worked at the International Committee of the Red Cross (1994-2001), the Direction générale de l'action sociale (DGSA) as Deputy Director (2001-2004). Subsequently, he was General Director of the General Hospice (2004-2013).
