The discussion will include their success stories along with the opportunities and challenges they faced in launching their companies.

Patrizia has a long international and pharmaceutical business experience. She is member of several boards of directors of companies and foundations
After a PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry she went to Africa to work in a drug manufacturing plant. She had a brief period in the dermo-cosmetic industry in Italy and moved to New York as head of the drug unit for UNICEF. She finally landed in Geneva, first at Lilly pharma and later as Managing Director of a Japanese pharmaceutical group. She recently founded two startups: GenomSys and Myshoepassion. She mentors young people who are embarking on entrepreneurial adventures.

Leyla possesses 15 years of experience in the Investment Banking and Financial Industry and holds several degrees in Corporate Finance, Management Economics and Advanced Studies on Blockchain and DLT.
In 2018, she co-founded a company in HealthTech applying blockchain technology based in Switzerland. She holds other positions as Board Member of Blockchain Azerbaijan (Baku), Head of the Azerbaijani Chapter at the Joint Chamber of Commerce (Zurich), as well as Founder and CEO of Swiss Alternative Financing AG (Geneva).
In 2019, she was selected to represent 6 countries of the Eastern Partnership countries to EU4Digital on blockchain and scale-ups in emerging markets, organised by the European Union in Spain.
Leyla has been speaker at the World Economic Forum, the DC3 Conference, organised by the United Nations International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the FemTech panel as part of the InnoWeek 2020 and the World Net Summit. Furthermore, she is a mentor at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), for "Women in STEM” (S - science, T - technology, E - engineering, M - math) mentorship program, training and growing young female professionals across the industries in high tech.
In 2022, she was a lecturer in Leadership for the MBA programme at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics in Baku.
Leyla has been honoured as one of the 100 successful young people of Azerbaijan Republic.

- En 2004, elle fonde sa société, ProP SA. Déjà très concernée par les enjeux climatiques, elle s’inscrit à une formation en durabilité et obtient un DAS (UniGE) en management durable en 2006.
- L’entreprise se développe dans ses marchés : la propreté et la gestion des déchets.
- En 2015, lancement d’une nouvelle activité pionnière dans la reduction des déchets : la location et le lavage de vaisselle réutilisable (consignee).
- En 2018, Leila co-crée le Groupe Serbeco, leader Genevois dans le recyclage, la propreté et la gestion des énergies renouvelables (bio masse bois).
- En 2019, le Groupe Serbeco a été honoré à plusieurs reprises : vainqueur du Grand Prix de l’Economie (CCIG), deuxième du grand Prix climatique (Zürich), Finaliste Prix Suisse SVC (Swiss Venture Club)
- Le Groupe Serbeco compte aujourd’hui 160 ETP et gère environ 180’000 tonnes de déchets par année.
