Chinese Geo-economics: Maneuvering for the Chinese Dream

Dr. Dominique Jolly, Business Strategy Expert

BOOKINGS OPEN SOON

As part of our Professionals & Entrepreneurs series, the AIC is delighted to host this evening event where Dr. Jolly will share his expertise on China and highlight the main points of his new book "Chinese Geo-economics: Maneuvering for the Chinese Dream".  Come join us for a lively discussion on this major geo-economic topic.

China has come a long way since its opening in 1978, accomplishing impressive economic, financial, and even technological successes.

Yet, after four decades of high demand, and indeed becoming the second best-performing economy in the world, the situation has changed. Why has China become less attractive? This presentation answers that question, showing how Chinese political leaders have shifted gears since China came back on the scene, and elaborating on how we’ve arrived at the current turning point.

Geopolitics are complex, and the geo-economics of China even more so. Through this talk, you will gain a deeper understanding of how various economic, political and social factors have created the conditions surrounding China and the global economy today. It is a must hear for anyone looking to gain a better understanding of the stakes and risks associated with activities in contemporary China.
