Edward Karr is the founder of RAMPartners SA – an investment management and investment banking firm based in Geneva. RAMPartners is a member of Global Alliance Partners (GAP), a network organization of internationally minded financial partners focusing on the capital midmarket. In 2004, Futures Magazine named Mr. Karr as one of the world’s Top Traders. He is a past contributor to CNBC and has been quoted in numerous financial publications. Mr. Karr worked for Prudential Securities in the United States and has been in the financial services industry for over twenty years. Mr. Karr was affiliated with the United States Antarctic Program and spent thirteen consecutive months working in the Antarctic, receiving the Antarctic Service Medal for winter over contributions of courage, sacrifice and devotion. Mr. Karr studied at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Lansdowne College in London, England and received a B.S. in Economics/Finance with Honours (magna cum laude) from Southern New Hampshire University. He is a licensed pilot and certified master rescue scuba diver. When he is not working, Mr. Karr likes to spend his time traveling, flying, scuba diving, fly fishing, skiing and mountaineering. Mr. Karr has lived in Geneva since 1997. He is the current President of the American International Club of Geneva and Co-Chairman of Republican’s Abroad Switzerland. In 2012, Mr. Karr helped found and was instrumental in participating in the “Americans in Switzerland Working Group.”
