\; We cordially invite you, your family and friends to attend the 2019 AIC Th anksgiving Celebration on:
Friday, 29 November, at the Intercontine ntal Hotel in Geneva.
This one of the biggest AIC events of the yea r and we looking forward to seeing you there. We have prepared a family an d friends evening, with our favorite Albert &ndash\; Mark Band to dance to , and drawing of special prizes.
We will be raising money for The S alvation Army in Geneva, specifically the \;&ldquo\;Accueil de Nuit&rd quo\; (Night Reception) providing emergency accommodation for the homeless in Geneva.
Program:
18H30 &ndash\; 19H15. Cocktail in the Grand Foyer of wine, soft drink, fruit juice.
19H15 &ndash\; 21H00. Thanksgiving Dinner. A Starter buffet of seasonal delight s, followed by a dinner of Roast turukey and gravy with all the «\;&n bsp\;trimmings \;»\; \; - mashed and sweet potatoes, stuffing , green beans and cranberry sauce. A Dessert buffet with pumpkin and peaca n pie, and more, to conclude the feast. \;
21H00-21H30: \;< strong>Silent \;Auction: \;for \;Salvation \;Army \;-& nbsp\;

Cost: Table for 8 persons: CHF 1000, must be booked and paid for
as a table at time of booking. Only prepaid tables will be reserved.
CHF 125 per person: AIC members and partner, AIWC, ACA, US Mission, Web
ster University student and faculty. \;

Deadline to register an d pay in advance: Monday 25 November at 12H00. Date FINAL. The hotel needs to know! A full no-show charge is applicable unless cancellation is recei ved by Monday 25 November at 12H00.
Dress code: Smart casual.
Beverages: Selected G eneva red and white wines, mineral water, café\;, tea. Fruit juices and soft drinks for children. Not included: digestives and cigars from the bar and Cigar Room in the Hotel.
Tables Assignme nt: There are no &ldquo\;bad tables.&rdquo\; Round tables for 8. Only those who purchase a whole table will have a specific table reservere d otherwise, as at our luncheons, Open Seating will apply. Join up with other friends during the Cocktail. (Idea: put on t he Club website the names of those who have signed up &ndash\; that way pe ople can form their group.)
Children: All ages are welcome, but the re will be no Kids Room for them this year. We plan to allocate «\;&n bsp\;Family \;»\; tables so that all the parents and children can eat together.
Parking: Limited Hotel parking is a vailable at CHF 36/day, CHF 3/hour. Parking is available behind the Hotel, free after 19H00.
Public transit: Bus 5, stop &ld quo\;Intercontinental.&rdquo\; To return to downtown Geneva, there are 3 b uses/hour until 01H48.
