 \n Scotland&rsquo\;s National Bard, Robert Burns, was born, the eldest of 
 seven children, near Ayr on the 25th January 1759, to a poor tenant farmer
 . He lived in various parts of Ayrshire, Edinburgh and Dumfries, where he 
 died in 1796. Burns Night has been part of Scottish culture for about 200 
 years as a means of commemorating Scotland&rsquo\;s best loved Bard. And w
 hen Burns immortalised haggis in verse, he created a central link that is 
 maintained to this day.\n Burns Night includes:  &bull\; Chairman&rsquo\;s
  opening remarks and a welcome from the President of the American Internat
