Thanksgiving Celebration
Welcome to the AIC American Thanksgiving information and registration page.
Please find below the information of interest for those planning to attending the AIC Thanksgiving. We have done our best to present as close to a Friends and Family event as we can for our “family” of 150 or so on the night.
Deadline to register and pay: Tuesday 21 November at 12H00. Date FINAL. The hotel needs to know! Those registered and paid by that date will have their names placed into the two draws for a SWISS bon for CHF 250.
Dress code: Smart casual.
Sign-in: From 18H30. Please pay in advance. The Club had NO CREDIT CARD facility.
Program:
18H30 – 19H00. Cocktail of wine, soft drink, fruit juice in the Grand Foyer.
19H00 – 21H00. Thanksgiving Dinner.
21H00 – 21H30: Silent Auction and Live Auction to support The Anouk Foundation.
21H30 – midnight. Dancing to the Mark Albert Band.

Beverages: Red and White wine, mineral water, café, tea, fruit juices and soft drinks are included. Not included: digestives and cigars from the bar and Cigar Room in the Hotel.
Tables Assignment: Round tables for 8. If your party is larger, there are tables for 10 available. An entire table can be booked at Member's price.
Please designate a “host” to inform the Club Office who you would like at your table.
Open Seating as at our luncheons. There are no “bad tables.” Please provide the Club with the list of names in your group – we need them for the SWISS draw.
Kids and young peoples room: Near to the Ballroom for Kids/Teenagers. Space with games, lap-tops, and lounge. Bring games and items that your young people will enjoy.
Parking: Limited Hotel parking is available at CHF 36/day, CHF 3/hour. Parking is available behind the Hotel, free after 19H00.
Public transit: Bus 5 from “Intercontinental” stop into Geneva: 3 buses/hour until 01H48.
Hotel room overnight: For those wishing to stay overnight, we have arranged a special Superior room rate for the night: CHF 305.- in single occupancy / CHF 330.- in double occupancy Breakfast included. Please book directly with the Hotel InterContinental, referring to “AIC Thanksgiving.”
No-Show policy: A full no-show charge is applicable unless cancellation is received by Tuesday 21 November at 12H00.
