He was in charge of the SNB when UBS, the country’s biggest bank, had to be rescued with the help of the Swiss state in the autumn of 2008. He then was the Chairman of Banque Cantonale de Genève (BCGE) from 2010 - 2017. He is a non-Executive Director of Swatch Group, and a non-Executive Director of Nestlé.

Jean-Pierre Roth will share his experiences at SNB, BCGE, and leading Swiss corporations, providing insights on the Swiss Franc, Swiss banking, and Swiss industry. Jean-Pierre's perspective from the top-level of Switzerland's largest institutions is an event not to be missed by bankers, businessmen, as well as the public at large.
