American International Club of Geneva — Celebrating Independence Day since 1962
The American International Club of Geneva invites you to celebrate American Independence Day in a new setting this year. We're bringing the spirit of July 4th to the beautiful grounds of the Everness Hotel with a classic American BBQ and good company.
After many wonderful years in Grand Saconnex Le Pommier park, we're bringing our beloved July 4th tradition to a hotel garden terrace, where the emphasis is on great food, great company, and that unmistakably festive Fourth of July spirit.
Traditional American BBQ This year's celebration features an authentic American BBQ spread — burgers, hot dogs and all the trimmings you'd find at a backyard Fourth of July cookout. A taste of home in the heart of Switzerland,
We will enjoy the event on the terrace over looking the beautiful Lac Leman. There will be a childrens craft table, with balloons and face painting, or alternatively you can have a game of pickle ball or badminton. The BBQ will be servered from 18.00-20.00pm – where you can have a leisurely meal with your friends and family – drinks available from the cash bar from 17.00-22.00.
The Annual Great American Cookie Bake Off — Our beloved baking competition returns. Bring your best American cookie recipe and compete for glory — and bragging rights until next July 4th.
Our History
The AIC has celebrated July 4th every year since 1962, making it one of the Club's most beloved traditions. Alongside Thanksgiving, it stands as an AIC signature event - drawing many attendees each year, including members and their families, the American International Women's Club, American Citizens Abroad, the US Mission, and current and retired US military personnel. This year, we carry that tradition proudly into a new setting.

TRAIN
4 trains an hour stop at Coppet station from Geneva and Lausanne. From there, take bus line 813 or 814 towards Divonne. Stop: les Champs-Blancs.

Everness is easily accessible from the A1 motorway: the Coppet exit is less than 2 minutes away. You can park your car free of charge in one of our 200 parking spaces.
