Biography

From 1967 to 1988, Jean-Claude Peterschmitt served in various capacities with Digital Equipment Corporation, last as Vice President-Europe and Chairman of the European Board of Directors. Prior to that, he was a member of Arthur D. Little’s European Operations Research Group. Since 1988, he has served on Boards and Advisory Boards of a number of European and American technology ventures and venture capital funds. He is a founding member of the Councils of Le Réseau (a Swiss network structure for the creation and development of high-technology enterprises in Western Switzerland) and of Health on the Net (a Geneva based non-profit foundation for the development and facilitation of access to the Internet for health and medical information). Mr Peterschmitt received an Engineering degree from Eidgenoessische Technische Hochschule (Zurich) and an M.S. degree from the MIT Sloan School of Business. Mr Peterschmitt was formerly RET’s Chairman from 2003 – 2007.
