Biography

Mark has over 20 years of experience advancing start-ups and recently organized international businesses through management and operational finance roles. He has managed cross-cultural and cross-functional teams in North America and Europe, in retail supply chain operations at Starbucks, in aerospace and industrial manufacturing with Alcoa and Thiokol, and in software development and commercialization with Nisus Software. Mark has developed global commodity procurement and sourcing operations for double digit sustainable growth. He has created business models for strategic and operational decisions realizing significant improvements to the bottom line and balance sheet. He has designed and implemented enterprise business systems and commodity risk management systems to drive efficiency and enhanced controls. Mark has optimized business planning, analytics and information, and devised and implemented cost and working capital management strategies for operational performance excellence.
Mark is commissioner of 250 youth Geneva Baseball & Softball League, member of the International Financial Management Association, and volunteer for the Geneva based Boy Scouts of America Troop 77.
Born and raised in New York. Mark is a licensed CPA in California, holds CMA designation, an MBA from University of Utah and BBA in accounting from James Madison University in Virginia. Mark is happily married with two children and enjoys outdoor adventure, wilderness exploration, and playing and coaching sports.
