Virtual Wine Tasting April 22 from 6.30 to 8pm
The AIC welcomes local sommelier Maria Zioga of the Geneva Wine Society for an evening of wine tasting from the convenience of your own dining table or couch!
Maria will guide us through opening, tasting, describing and storing three wines. It will be a casual, fun and educational evening, where you can ask all the questions you want!
Wines to be tasted:
- Fin Bec Petite Arvine AOC Valais, Domaine Tsallin
- Rosso Latino Merlot, Ticino,
- Cornalin Barrique, 2018, Jacques Germanier
All wines can be found at Manor for a total of less than CHF 60 (not including potential shipping), either in-store or online.
To participate and receive the list of wines, please register as places are limited. Please sign up by APRIL 15 so you have plenty of time to source the wine at your local Manor store (one registration per household).

Maria was born in Greece but spent most of her life living abroad. She studied Political Science and Media and Communication at the London School of Economics and worked alongside the Greek Minister of Finance for 3 years. However, it was wine that captured her heart and became her passion. …
Maria was born in Greece but spent most of her life living abroad. She studied Political Science and Media and Communication at the London School of Economics and worked alongside the Greek Minister of Finance for 3 years. However, it was wine that captured her heart and became her passion. She is passionate about making wine accessible to everyone and loves teaching about it through fun yet informative seminars. She holds the WSET Level 3 certification and will be starting the WSET Diploma soon. In April 2019, she founded the Geneva Wine Society. She organises wine tastings and wine events in Geneva as well as online. Maria has lived and worked in various countries over the past 20 years and is a proud mom of a very active 4 year old boy.
