June 18-19 - Tennis Tournament

Format: The 2016 edition of the AIC "MDRR"  Mixed Doubles Round Robin (with a handicap twist) is right around the corner and promises to be even more exciting than the 2015 first edition. Once again, the format calls for each participant to play with as many different partners as possible during two to four 45 minute periods (over two days), depending on how many people sign up. A handicap system will be put in place to compensate for differences in individual playing levels. You sign up individually for this tournament even though you play Doubles. It really is a fun filled format.

Tournament Registration and entry fees:
You can sign up for one day of play (Saturday or Sunday) or for the two days. Matches will start between 9AM and 10AM depending on the number of participants and will end around 11AM or 12PM.

The fee for Saturday play alone is CHF15 and for the two days including the post play festivities on Sunday the 28th is CHF55. Prize giving, cocktails and lunch will take place on Sunday the 28th following play (around 12:30/13:00). Note: Non players are encouraged to come and watch the matches on both days and if so inclined to join the players for cocktails and lunch on Sunday (for a small fee of CHF35).

Prizes:
Awards, Prizes and Accolades will be given the the players having won the highest number of games over one day or the two days depending on how they signed up.
